BELLEVUE, NE – Features the beautiful Fontenelle Forest Nature Center, Gifford Farm Education Center, Sarpy County Historical Museum and the Bellevue Pioneer Cemetery, the final resting place of Chief Big Elk, the last full-blooded chief of the Omaha Tribe. Bellevue is home to Nebraska’s oldest church, the Old Presbyterian Church, and the oldest commercial building, the Old Fontenelle Bank, and a 1830s log cabin.

Visitors can catch a game or a match at Werner Park, off Nebraska Highway 370 and 132nd in Papillion, home to the Omaha Storm Chasers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, and the USL League One professional soccer team Union Omaha.  Just up the road visitors will find the new Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Memorial which is south of Highway 370 and 108th.  Concertgoers will want to check out The Astro Theater in downtown La Vista.  Several international acts have performed during the first year of The Astro.
